Festoon Lighting
110 Volt Festoon Lighting System Type 36
The festoon lighting system is designed to provide general illumination in cabin and freight bays when the aircraft lighting is inoperative.
The system comprises 6x110 volt 55 watt compact high frequency flourescent light fittings and 1 x 30 metre input cable.
Fittings comprise of a polycarbonate tube with integral chassis tray fitted with a flourescent lamp connected to a 110 volt H/F ballast.
Interconnection of the fittings is achieved by means of a fixed socket fitted to one end and a 5 metre input cable fitted to the other with inline plug. Suspension of the fittings is by means of a flexible hook secured at each end of the fitting.
Input lead comprises 30 metres yellow PVC insulated cable. One end is fitted with an inline socket compatible with the light fitting and a 110 volt plug at the other for connection to the customer's 110 volt supply.
Interconnecting cables can be supplied for connection between the input lead and first fitting or between fittings if required.
